Make Payment to Invoice

View information about this Invoice, and make a payment on this invoice. Payments can be applied to Due or Overdue Invoices only.

To make a payment:

  1. Access the invoice from Billing > Invoices
  2. Click the Make Payment button in the Actions Panel.
    Note: Make Payment button is active only if the invoice status is Due or Overdue.
    The Make Payment dialog box appears.
  3. Define the fields as needed. Refer to the table below for guidance regarding the fields.

Subscription The subscription ID associated with the invoice.
Account IDMerchant ID for this customer account.
Amount DueCurrent balance due.
Payment IDMerchant ID for this payment.Required
AmountAmount of the payment.Required
Invoice The Invoice ID of the invoice selected for payment.
Account NumberThe Payment method account number. Account details are masked.
Note: If an account number was not newly entered (and the current payment method is being used), this field does not display.
CurrencyCurrency type for this Subscription represented by the national flag.
Payment MethodPayment method used for this payment. Accepts default or select an optional payment method.Required
OverageIf the amount being paid is higher than the amount due, use this field to allocate surplus funds. You can select from the following:
  • Apply to this Subscription
  • Apply to Credit
  • Apply to Oldest Invoice
  1. Click Make Payment button on the Make Payment dialog box.
    On successful payment, the associated invoice status is updated to Paid.
