Token Activity

Subscribe Tokens are virtual currencies you can create and track such as incentive points, loyalty rewards, or flyer miles.

You may define any number of Tokens, and can control each customer’s associated balance of units by granting (incrementing) Tokens on a purchase, and receiving payment or consuming (reducing) Tokens through Products, Billing Plans, or Subscriptions.

  • Define Products that grant customers Tokens, and/or Products priced in Tokens.
  • Define Billing Plans that are priced in tokens..
  • Define subscriptions for which tokens are credited or which contain products that grant tokens, or that use tokens as the currency to purchase items.

Subscribe Token Activity page lets you see all the customer-related activity that occurred for the defined Tokens (such as how Tokens are being used in your Transactions), as well as filter to see the relevant information you need. Token activity occurs when the quantity of a Token associated with a customer Account changes. Quantities may be incremented or decremented in response to direct customer action (purchase), a customer service interaction (grant or refund), or an automated subscription event (decrement, grant, or purchase).

Field Guidance
Token ID The token ID for the relevant token.
Account Name of the customer for this Token activity.
Email Customer's email address as entered in their account.
Transaction The relevant transaction that created the token activity. The transaction may have consumed or granted Tokens. Parameter is empty, if the token activity was performed independent of a billing transaction.
Activity Type The activity as it relates to the token. The following Activity types are supported:
  • All—the default, displays results for all types of Token activity.
  • Decrement—an activity involving decreasing Token quantities.
  • Purchase—an activity involving customer purchase of a product that granted/decreased Tokens.
  • Grant—an activity directly granting Tokens to customer(s).
  • Refund—activity involving refunding Tokens.
Amount The amount of Tokens modified by the activity.
Created Date The date of the activity.
